...Always Trust Your Gut, Even With People You THINK You Know...
Why didn't I just go with my first intuition?...it was right there since the beginning, warning me of what not to do...or maybe it was warning me of what TO do...Intuition is something serious that many of us ignore, all the time...Why?...Because we live in our heads, and not our hearts...Feel the energy all around us...See the energy all around us...Trust this God given gift of insight, feeling, knowing...You will find that we can never go wrong, if we act on what is truly in our hearts...This can be tricky sometimes as the mind is a powerful thing...And sometimes certain situations does call on logic and certain mental processes to figure out what we need to do...But most of the time if we just listen to our hearts i'm sure half if not more of the mistakes we have made wouldn't have happened...This is something I thought of this morning in the shower...Of course it is based on a situation which I am not gonna be writing about but using that situation to come to a clarity to share with you all...And I was in my shower I immediately thought of the Seated Forward Fold to help me get rid of these negative thoughts I had and get rid of the bad vibes I was letting enter...And after my shower, before I did my usual after shower thang I sat on my sun-colored mat and just breathed into the pose...Aaah, breathing out all the bad vibes and thoughts, letting it disapear into thin air...It's magic!...Yes the mind is a powerful thing, but your heart is much more powerful...The two of them combined works wonders as it did for me this morning in my Seated Forward Fold or as said in Sanskrit: Paschimottanasana...Try this pose out when you are feeling bad vibes and want to release that negative cloud over your head...First sit with your spine straight, head straight, and legs stretched out in front of you, knees should be as close to the ground as possible, feet together and flexed towards your knees...Now grab each side of your buttocks one at a time and bring the fatty part towards the back of the wall, scootching them away from your legs...Hands to your heart center close your eyes and breath...Your breath should be very subtle for this posture, you shouldn't have any strain as you are coming into this in a very relaxing releasing way...When you have centered your mind and body to the present, bring both hands up to the air raising your chest and ribs and tilting your head back slightly, still keeping your eyes closed and inhaling deeply...When you are ready to exhale, keep your spine straight as you slowly begin to fold forward, lengthening your lower spine and bending at your pelvis...As you reach as far as you can go, bring your head down and rest...You should feel your heart beat throughout your whole body...You should feel your breath throughout your whole body moving you up and down...The longer you are in this pose the more relaxed you will get and each breath in and out will bring your chest closer to your thighs and knees...Remember, it's not how far deep you go into these poses, it's about full mental and physical relaxation...With each inhale, happiness and peace, and for the negative vibes you want to exhale them long and deeply...Mother Earth knows how to recycle those bad energies and make so each breath is fresh and new...How awesome is that!!!...Very...Who new that renewing your body and mind was so simple...And check this out, after I did this simple exercise, which I was in for about 13 minutes, the sun was out!...Very positive and uplifting...My day has been great so far...Went to my morning Muay Thai class with Yoga after, I feel so empowered!...You make your own day...Don't let past memories or present situations alter your happiness...Don't allow yourself to get into a funk...Every experience is presented to us to learn from...Learn and continue living...Always live in peace and happiness!!!...God Bless...
